THE HOLY COMMUNION

The HOLY COMMUNION is a ceremonial ordinance of the New Covenant but of Old origin (MANNA) in which a dedicated christian is expected to eat Bread and drink Wine in memory of the last meal Christ had with his desciples. It is an avenue in which a believer renews his or her Batismal Vow Annually. The Bible said in the book of Luke 22:19-20 "And He took the Bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave to them saying, this is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. And likewise the cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my Blood" Consequently, the Bible warned that Holy Communion should not be eaten in an unworthy manner( being the Body of Christ personified).1st corinthians 11:23-30 and this is why many people fall sick, becomes weak or died after eating it. The eating of the Holy Communion brings regeneration to the souls of the faithfuls and curse to the unfaithfuls. The Old Covenant Communion was given to all who were baptized into Moses as they all passed under the cloud and the sea, they all ate thesame supernatural food and drank the same supernatural water from the rock (1st corinthians 10:1-4) That Rock was CHRIST.

THE MYSTERY OF MANNA:-
THE manna has a characteristics of flesh (Exodus 16:20). The Manna breds worm and became foul when the people of Israel took more than required for a day as directed by God through Moses. The worm is a long thin creature that lives inside the body of humans and animals and can cause illness. It is only flesh that has worms breeding in it and can develope at an instance foul smell when it dies but inanimate things do not. In John 6:31-35, Christ confirms himself to be the Bread sent from Heaven in form of Manna.the first mirracle was Manna thesame was alloed to be baked as Bread on the sixth Day. On the seventh day there was no worms. Also, the water from the rock was the Blood of Christ. Consequently, the Israelites ate the Holy Communion under Moses. Under the new dispensation, the Manna( THE WORD OF LIFE) Took flesh and reappeared in human form. John 1:1-13. He was in the beginning, He was the word of God, the light and life of the world. All that accepts Him; He has given the power to bocome the sons and daughters of God. Also the book of John 6:31-51 proves Christ as The Bread and Water of Life and anyone who did not eat and drink of his flaeh and blood, (accept Him as The Lord and Saviour of the world) shall not have life.the MANNA here was THE WORD that came from His mouth.
Before Christ left the world, He re-enacted the Old covenant Communion, by baking special Bread even as Moses ordered in Exodus 16:22-25, with special consecration as His flesh and the wine as His Blood (Luke 22:17-20). This will be eaten only by faithfuls as a sign of continuous allegiance to Christ Annuslly during The Feast of Passover( when Christ ate and established the Holy Communion Ordinance). All those who have been baptized and still in the faith are entitled to eat The Holy Communion for the regeneration of their soul. THE HOLY COMMUNION, THOUGH A NEW COVENANT ADDENDUM, BECOMES AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE CHRISTIAN WORSHIP ESTABLISHED BY CHRIST.
