groups or sets of Christians have arrogated to themselves the name "BORN
AGAIN CHRISTIANS". But this is purely a kind of tautology. There is nothing
like Born Again Christian in the real sense of events. For one to be
considered a christian, he ought to have been baptized; that is to say he
must have undergone the cycle of spiritual transformation of the soul,
spirit and body, by putting off the yoke of sin. In other words, putting to
death all illicit and unholy practices of human life and returning to them
no more. This cycle of metamorphosis. In the transformation of a sinner, is
known as the putting away of the old person or the borning again process,
which has trio-stages and the end point produces a Christ-like body. In
other words, one is considered a christian after these stages. Anything
short of this trio-stages before being considered as a christian is AN ACT
OF ADVANCED HYPOCRISY IN THE CHRISTIANDOM. You are either a christian or a
baptized peganist. It is pathetic to say that many have hidden themselves
under the umbrella of the christian religion while in the real sense of
things, they are more of benchwarmers, baptized peganist and church goers.
The fact is clear, going to church does not qualify or make you a christian.
A christian is one who abides by the ethics of christian religion at any
point in time, that a believer losses his compass, he begins to derail and
the spiritual chord linking him to christ is broken leaving him as a
ceremonial christian. Under this condition, he is purely under the influence
of demonic forces. John 13:26-27, Ezekiel 18:24. Under this condition, the
person has no share in the common wealth of God. If one lost his share in
the spiritual wealth, of what use is his faith? Consequently upon this very
condition, it is right to say that a ceremonial christian is not a christian
but a church goer. One is linked back to Christ when he recovers his
spiritual bearings through the Holy spirit( 2nd corrinthians 7:10) at this
point, he is reconnected back to share in the common wealth of Christ and he
is free to be called a christian.
Hence, a Born Again is one who have been wholly transformed as to sin no
more( colossians 2:8-15, John 3:4) thereby living a similar perfect nature
with Christ. From the scriptural point of view, if one should psych out what
it takes to be a Born Again by psychoanalizing the ills found in the
christendom, one would ask this quetion, WHO IS REALY A BORN-AGAIN? And the
answer would be NO-BODY. (Exodus 20:1-21, Gal 1:6-9, 2nd John 1:9-11, Matt.
12:8, Acts 13:42-44). Let's take for instance the book of 2nd Timothy
2:23-25", it says:- have nothing to do with stupid and senseless
controversies, know that they breed quarrels. The clause QUARRELS is a by
product of the convergences of two disagreeable forces been manipulated by
demons over the believers often times, the so called born-again falls victim
to this oppresion of the demons for one reason or the other. Speaking from
the strongest theme of language, before sin finds its way into Eden, there
were no records of fracas, but when the devil strucked, sin found ground in
Eden, giving birth to quarrels and murder which is a symbol of imperfection,
hence, where quareels exist, the transformation cycle has not been
completed.
Let's consider this books, James 21:6-8 and Romans 2:11", this book of James
says:- My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith of our Lord
Jesus, The Lord of Glory. For if a man with Gold Rings and in fine clothing
comes into your assembly, and a poor in a shabby clothing also comes in, and
you pay attention to the one who wears fine clothing and say Have a seat
Here please, while you say to the poor man stand there or sit at my feet",
have you not made distinction among yourselves, and become judges with evil
thoughts? You can read the remaining verses 5-7, Romans 2:11 says:- for God
shows no partiality.
Looking into contemporary church system of operation, it is noticeable that
the members of the Board of Trustees and other exalted ellective positions
are wholly occupied by the highly placed in the society and the beloved
ones, an indirect way of displaying church politics. Even new converts who
are well placed in the society, are given one post. Or the other, or are
enrolled into one of the commitees which always result into a failure, for
they lack the spiritual know-how. Most church leaders for the sake of money,
often undermine the scriptural injuctions which states that we should not be
in a hurry in anoiting recent converts into the the service or enrolling
them into one duty or the other, other-wise when they are faced with one
trial or the other, they may be puffed up with conciet and fall into
condemnation of the devil, (1 Timothy 3:6, 5:9 and 5:20). The spiritual rich
are no more recognized in the days of the prophets and the apostles.
Elective positions are acredited to the well-placed in the society
withrespect to their financial input to the church smooth running, leaders
of this era no longer seek directives from God to know who is spiritually
approved for a particular rank or possition, (Acts1:2-25, Numbers11:16-17,
Mathew 8:19-22. But they only act from their physiognomic analysis of an
individual(John:7:24) "DO NOT JUDGE BY APPEARANCE BUT JUDGE WITH RIGHT
JUDGEMENT."
DISCIPLINE:- Disiplinary action are expedited on the lower class(POOR)
without fear of losing them, while strict protocols are followed in
addressing the misbehaviors of the well-placed members(THE RICH) of the
church to avoid losing them and their support to the church which is an
indirect way of encouraging the rich to continue in their evil life, But
remember, God is no respecter of any man and none is above the law, the rich
and the poor are alike before the creator. "YET THEY CLAIM TO BE BORN- AGAIN
CHRISTIANS.
MONEY:- The bedrock of all evil today is money.(1st Timothy 6:9, Eccls 5:10,
Deut 17:17. So many church leaders have hidden under the umbrella of the
gospel to exploit money from people. Most of their preaching today is "THE
MORE YOU GIVE, THE MORE GOD IS GOING TO BLESS YOU", AND THEY HAVE CLEVER
WAYS AND SWEET TOUNGUES for pressenting matters that easilly attracts their
admirers, some of these churches have as a matter of facts, enforced it on
their members to use reasonable amount of money for their offerings, " For
our God is not a poor God; as they often say to their flocks. This very
issue makes the poor to cause God for making them poor. Obviously, this is
contrary to the injuctions of offering( Exodus 25:1-9, Luke 21:1, 2nd cor
9:6-9, Luke 12:48, Genesis 4:3-7). What the Lord is interested in is the
heart with which you are presenting your offering and not the greatness of
your offering will approve you before God. Most leaders are more conscious
of the financial output than the human output, Also cases of financial
misappropiation is considered seriously and is treated with every amount of
seriousness and cautiously, such attention have never been quickly applied
for the recovery of a fallen poor member of the church. Additionally,
audience are given to the well-placed than the poor, Approaching the men of
God these days when they have grown rich and gain wide recognition becomes a
problem yet, they preach the simplicity of Christ and His servants.(John
10:11-13, 1st corinth 11:1).
TRIALS:- The book of James 1:2-4 stipulates:- COUNT IT ALL JOY MY BRETHREN
WHEN YOU MEET VARIOUS TRIALS, FOR YOU KNOW THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH
PRODUCES STEADFASTNESS, AND LET STEADFASTNESS HAVE ITS FULL EFFECT , THAT
YOU MAY BE PERFECT AND COMPLETE, LACKING NOTHING. Also ( Romans 5:3-5, Rev
3:11, James 1:12). Trial is a requisite for moulding, which help to embibe
Christ-like character into a believer, thereby bringing him into a spiritual
maturity if only he overcomes the tests. While on trial, the new believer is
placed between the Earth and the Heavens, not untill he obtains his
certificates by overcoming the tests, he cannot have access to the spiritual
joy. Consequently upon this, a testing ground is a chanel to the true
ground, that is to say, a testing ground is an imperfect place which the
earth represents, hence, the continous testing of a believer shows that he
has not attained to the expected height, this is because, Trials leads to
the solidification of ones faith and when ones faith is solidified, it leads
to spiritual growth. Conclusively, as long as one remains on this testing
ground, he is still a student that will either graduate into SORROW OR
JOY.(Philipians 3:10-12, Ezekiel 18:24)
Churchism, Doctrinarism, Creeds and Human Instituted Dogmas has jeopardized
the church of God; " WHO IS A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN"? This self styled name
BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN has gone as far as directing people's conscience for
worship by declairing sister churches not opperating in thesame mode with
them as dead churches, while they arrogate to themselves the name "LIVING
CHURCH". Mathew 13:49 says:- The Lord will send His Angels at the close of
Age to seperate the right from the wrong. Of a truth, THE LORD ALMIGHTY DOES
NOTHING WITHOUT CALENDER. The secred chart denotes God's programs for
mankind from creation to rapture. God have defined and detailed in the
scripture, WHEN, HOW AND WHER HE MUST BE WORSHIPED. Search your bible for
the truth. Additionally, the book of Acts 5:34-39 explains better. It is
possible to be found oppossing God and speaking against the Holy Ghost, if a
church laid by the foudation of Christ is called a dead church, of a truth,
if speaking from none denominational point of view " ANY CHURCH NOT RUNNING
CORCURRENTLY WITH THE DOCTRINE OF WORSHIP AS OBSERVED IN THE PROPHETIC AND
APPOSTOLIC ERA, IS INDIRECTLY DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION OF CHRIST
AND OBSERVING THE DOCTRINES OF MEN(Isaiah 29:13, Mark 7:7-9, Mathew 13:52,
Exodus 20:1-21, Gal 1:6-9, 2nd John 1:9-11, Mathew 12:8, Acts 13:42-44).
There have been a lot of conscientious clauses inrespect of doctrinal
differences. We were sent to preach the gospel and not to condemn sister
churches. Search the bible and find out if the WORSHIPS, FESTIVALS AND OTHER
THINGS your church may be observing have a scriptural origin and that are
the only features that would prove your church is a living church or a dead
church. Hence preachers should stop engaging in preaching one church
superiority to others, (John 9:49). Brood over these points and digest the
facts. Having pulse for a while, we are called christians by grace and not
by merits. The chritians are the set of people who would be transformed into
perfection and to be at one with Christ in the world to come, And there is
no set amidst the Christians known as BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS for born-again
is a tranformation process that brings a sinner reconciled officially into
Christian fold. All these affirmation ills are found also living in the
midst of the so called BORN-AGAIN.
The book of psalms 55:12-14 says: It is not an enemy who taunts me then, I
could bear it, It is not an advassary who deals insolently with me then, I
could hide from him, but it is you, my equal, my companion, my familier
friend. We use to hold sweet converse together; within God's house we walked
in fellowship. Jeremiah 9:4-5 says: let every one beware of his neighbour
and put no trust in any brother for every brother is a supplanter.
It is appelling to know that most commited christians has fallen short of
the glory of God for the sake of acquisition of wealth, trust on christian
brethren is lost and our faith betrayed. It would sound like a paradox but
it is an axiomatic account of the happenings in the christiandom. Today,
most christians prefer dealing with the worldly people in matters concerning
money and business than fellow christians; reasons, previous dealings has
often ended up in court or police station. Even your brother in Christ often
goes ahead to betray his christian brother who may have introduced him to
that business, an indirect way of buying favour from the owners of that
business and thereafter, may become the contracting firm working with the
company in place of his christian brother who has introduced him into that
business. Again, often times, when a particular project is finished, and the
money being paid, the ratio on how to share the money received becomes a
problem and if not properly handled, many ended up in fracas and dropping from
faith, for one will not feel free to see himself worshiping with a brother
or a sister who is a cheat. It is heart-broken to note. Hence, the book of
Romans 2:24 says: for as it is written, the name of God is blasphamed among
the gentiles because of you.
What else do I wright about these so called BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN MENTALITY;
if talking about marriages, many divorce cases today, so-many brethren finds
it easy to divorce their wives and husbands, though its more common among the
men folk, for ones self styled reasons or the other, and with every ease and
marry another. Also so many broken marriage vows or betrothment in the
church has taken place. So many brothers have broken their vows to their
betrothed, even in the church of God. The language they often use is that
sister:- have the Lord spoken to you about me? Or The Lord spoke to me
through the Holy Spirit that you are my missing rib, this they do, only to
place so many sisters waiting when the time and money would come to go into
marriage proper. But Note; within this space of time, both sexes begin to
exchange gifts and extends hand of help to builed the anticipated future
dream family. In so many cases, the Lady/sister who is handy, would be ready
to do or even spend the last of her salaries on her betrothed, believing
that she is building to participate in the wealth thereafter and they would
quote the book of 1st corinthians 7:36. They tell you that nothing much is
wrong in betrothment for the scripture supports it. But from a true data
collection in respect of these betrothment cases, only five percent have
been fullfilled while about Ninety-five percent have been a failure and
remain in the dream world. So many sisters, after waiting for so many years,
for their betrothed brother in their church, are eclipsed with sorrow when
they are left behind by their betrothed to marry another for one reason or
the other, even in thesame church or outside the church and this makes so
many sisters to drop from the faith. All these take place in the church,
even the so called anoited men and women of God fall victim of this case;
tell me, who is the perfect one? If properly chacked, No one is perfectly
okey.
PROLIFERATION OF CHURCHES:- As a result of frcas in the administration of
churches and the mismanagement of church funds and the welfare of her
workers(CHURCH MINISTERS). Many ministers have broken out(DECAMPED)
from their former churches to establish their own churches with some members
loyal to them. Note, when this happens, these two churches goes to war
against each order, even in prayers for the fall of the other church. Not
only these, the new church goes out to disclose the secrete and the unholy
acts of his former church publicly as the reason for his exit from the very
church he has formally preached as the best existing and well managed
church. They also go ahead to condemn the former leaders as evil purpossely
and have no proper knowledge to lead the flock of God to salvation. On
the other hand, the church he left will also go ahead to arrest, frustrate,
tongue-lash, castigate, humiliate and declare the minister as an enemy of
christ, the church and lover of money than the work of God and have no
leadership calling. Infact, members are warned not to communicate with the
ministers or have their membership with the church terminated, because he is
no longer with them. The same was the very pastors or ministers the church
have commended for his good work and recommended as the best minister the
church has ever produced with an incorporable outstanding skills and
qualities for the services of God, heave war is the christiandom who claimed
to be born-again, DOES CHRIST RISE AGAINST CHRIST? When they break out, they
choose a name that will sound so superior to the name of their former
church, e.g. If he was a member of Assemblies of God, he chooses the True
Assemblies of God, Winners, True covenant, True church of Christ,
Overcomers etc. With a modified system of worship, thereby declaring
the other church false and inferior to his or theirs, under this
condition, the flock of Christ are placed into confusion on who are
the true or false men of God, there is fear. Where are we heading to;
Heaven or Hell? What a church proliferation mentality. Infact, I will
advice our founders to seek a spiritual psychiatric doctor of our
faith, through the active force of the Holy Spirit, though they claim
to be born-again, they will know that our churches today are being
tele-guided by the integrated manipulations of the highest order of
the occult world.
WAR AMONG CHURCH LEADERS:- It is chrystal clear that there exist
tussle of power and superiority. Trying to know who is who, the
spiritual bulldozers,, the gurus and swams, spiritual dynamites and
the war mechineries of this century. Timber and calibers in the
ministerial world of Christ (christendom), if you study or follow-up
the happenings in the globe, in the contemporary church of Christ, you
will discover that there is no agreement, the renowned preachers
accuse the mirracle workers of using mystic powers to work, those who
do not posess a particular talents rises against those who have them,
they are also seen to be fighting against each other up to the level
of destroying life.
Many church leaders in the orthodox, spiritual and pentecostal
churches have taken others to the police, even court for the treathening
of life. Read the magazines and listen to the news, you will see the
war among the church leaders, both the book ephi 4:11-14, 1cor.
12:4-11. Especially stated that God gave us different gifts and
talents for the edification of His church that we will not lack
anything, why then does the churches of Christ disagree or will not
recognize those talents they are not peculiar with, do they not read
the bible and see that God gave different gifts and talents to his
churches for edification and growth, the book of ephi 6:10-12.
Stipulates; Finally, be strong in the lord and in the stregnth of his
might, put on the whole amour of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil. For we are not fighting against human
beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the Heavenly world,
the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers of this dark age. But on the
contrary, these weapons are now being against fellow christian and not
the devil as the Bible instructed us to do; may God have mercy upon us
the born-again folk.
It would be observed that so many men of God who started their service
in a good note never ended it the way they started it, so many got
themseves involved in sex scandals and the use of mystic powers. This
is not because they willingly accepted it, but were subjected to it by
the integrated manipulation of demonic forces of darkness. For
instance: somebody like Job was subjected to chronic poverty and
sickness by the integrated manipulation of the devil himself, it was
by the special grace of God that he survived it, for he vowed that "as
long as the breath of the Almighty God was still in him and the spirit
of God in his nostrils, his lips will not speak falsehood and would
neither depart from his integrity untill he dies" (Job 27:1-8).
The book of Gal. 2:11-14 says: "but when Cephas came to Antioch I
opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For before
certain men came from James, he ate with the gentiles, but when they
came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcised
party. And with him the rest Jews acted insincerely. But when I saw
that they were not straight forward about the truth of the gospel, I
said to Cephas before them all; "if you though a Jew live like a
Gentile and not a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like a
Jew?" From the above text, it is seen that the Apostle Peter was
rebuked by Apostle Paul for his insincerity, now do we with respect to
this singular act, declare Apostle Peter the Rock and Head of the
Apostles not to be truely Born-Again? Another account is Acts 15:36-41
revealed the disagreement between Apostle Paul and Prophet Barnabas,
of which it took so many years before they reconciled as stated in the
book of Colo. 4:10 and also read 2nd Timothy 4:11 and also Phili.
4:2-3................As you can see, these disagreements were not
easily reconciled, though the crussaders and pace-setters of the
gospel of Christ were neck deeply involved, shall we say because they
were not commited Christians hence, these happenings took place. You
can see that irrespective of their spiritual personality, they were
still prone to err. It is based on all these findings that I
conclusively said that "BORN-AGAIN IS PERFECTED IN THE THEORETICAL
WORD THAN IN THE PRACTICAL TENSE. Accept it or not, all am saying is
that; in as much as this world is concerned, no man is pure,
irrespective of ones spiritual heights. (GALATIANS 5:18-21, PHILIPIANS
3:12-14).
